It’s been way too long since I’ve posted and connected on this site.  I could give you a myriad of reasons but I won’t. What I can tell you is that I’m ready to re-enter this space and bring to life the stories of people who are doing what we all do to make it through each day, one step at a time, no matter what their circumstance in life.

When I was introduced to the work of Metro Caring, Denver’s leading hunger-relief organization I was amazed to discover the staff and volunteers are there to provide nutritious food to hungry families and individuals while promoting health and self-sufficiency.  And on top of all that Metro Caring helps anyone in need with no income or geographic requirements.

Every Story Matters is a collection of conversations with people who give me permission to share how Metro Caring, and in the future other organizations, is serving their household with dignity and respect.

My first story is about Mahmoud Ezzat and if you love to eat and prepare food, his story will inspire you.

I’d love to hear your thoughts and please let me know if there’s someone you’d like me to feature.

Thank you,

Lois
